May napipisil kang kandidato.
C’mon!”
“Galing at Talino?
“Eh mayabang masyado ‘yan! So full of himself”
Pangalawa. Natalo ang kandidato mo. BV ka. Nagpost ka ulit sa lahat ng social networking site mo: “This country deserves its leaders.”
ReplyDeletejust perfect. <3
ReplyDeletevery well said...
ReplyDeleteTrue,true.
:) You pointed out the reality of the attitude of most people in this country. Thank you :)
Serve the People hindi lang tuwing eleksyon! :)
ReplyDeletevery well done.. :) i totally agree!
ReplyDeleteNice. Very well said. Galing! :)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant observation. I am nodding at almost every paragraph. :)
ReplyDeleteMahusay kaibigan! Mahusay!
nice:)
ReplyDeletetwo thumbs up! :))
ReplyDeleteGordon could have been our greatest president this country ever had...but sadly track records and competence doesnt appeal to filipino electorate! Now we are doomed for another 6 damn years!
Startign this election. >.<
ReplyDeleteHindi ba dapat lahat tayo ganun?
so true and well said!
ReplyDeleteI disagree with the part that Gibo chose his partner... isn't it the party that he's with that chooses their leader? Thats why Mar is not running for President because the party chose Noynoy.. and even Bayani... Correct me if im wrong but thats what i know..
ReplyDeleteIts not that I go back to reality after the elections, i always look at whats happening in the government and their secrets because i get infos. But there is nothing we can do, because majority of the people chose those Government people to sit on those position. Not all secrets and infos are meant to be spilled. it is not easy to accept and many will not believe it.
good job! haha funny yet insightful
ReplyDeleteclap clap.
ReplyDeletekudos to you! great post!
ReplyDeleteDude, you got it. THE BEST BLOG I've read so far. :)) Natumbok mo! I applaud you.
ReplyDeleteyoh, this is fiction :D fiction that rings truer than real life ;)
ReplyDeletetama!
ReplyDeletenice one!!! :)
ReplyDeleteNice one po. can i post this one? I will post the link as my source. Thanks! =)
ReplyDeleterepost lang nang repost. just lead them here :)
ReplyDeletei dont agree on the part that gibo choose an artist.. i think that lakas-kampi chooses his running mate not gibo himself.. di ako bias pero anlabo naman siguro na si gibo ang pipili nun..
ReplyDelete@anonymous:
ReplyDelete1. this entry does not specifically pertain to any of the candidates. it was meant to jolt the imagination.
2. however, being the standard bearer of any party, he has first right of refusal for his running mate. not expressing it reflects his character as a party leader. :)
This is so true. I don't even think that most of the voters really research the candidates they're going to vote for. They just vote base on popularity or on who their friends are voting for. And then after everything said and done, it's back to the usual. Like nothing drastic really happened. Most Filipinos aren't aware of how life changing every election is. They just want someone who is willing to wipe their asses or to save them from something that can't fight off themselves. It's just sad.
ReplyDeleteOk, well most are true. I never heard that about Gibo, i just always hear when it comes to Gibo is "tuta ni Gloria" not with the running mate. Thinking of villar's running mate.. whew! hehe.. anyway.. I agree but only this hits only internet users of the country who has facebook and blogs which is only about 25% of filipinos. Others dont argue because they just know about their candidate thru TV or word of the mouth. Thats why survey's thru internet and thru TV are so different and that starts those arguement, bobo si ganito, kurakot si gnyan.. etc. Still we all have to move on as of whats this blog points out. True ;)
ReplyDeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteI've always loved my country, and not to boast or whatever, I have done some of my share. I am from a family whose business is helping thousands of people. We intend to remain open for the sake of employing people so that we can help in some way. I donate to charity, I keep up with current events. Of course I can always do more.
ReplyDeleteBut the elections is the only way our voices can be heard, for it is through the elections that we get what we want.
As for Edu...I can't help but make a comment at how unfair this is to him. This is just as bad as the silly thinking that Gibo is GMA's puppet, which by now you should realize, is definitely NOT.
Edu is not incompetent, he's just considered by many as not qualified, but definitely he's competent. I have seen his resume, platform and ideas. They are really good. But i think he jumped in because nobody wants to run beside Gibo, and Gibo wants someone whom he can trust. No one actually lusting after his power if ever both of them win.
It's not fair that just because we've seen the man dance Papaya so many times that we mark him as incompetent. Why, he was employed at NASA. He was in the Navy, he was one of the best Vice Mayors. He had an impressive profile.
Sadly, it's not enough for the job as VP. He should have run as Senator. But I still voted for him because I want Gibo to have a VP he can trust. Edu is modest enough to know his capacity and he extends goodwill. He's not one to divide people.
Read first his background and accomplishments before making that biased statement.
Anyway, enough of defending Edu...but your post struck a chord.
@Issy: Yeah \m/ "ALL TRUE"
ReplyDelete"TRUE but SAD", this only shows na tayong Filipino kanya kanya, di magkaisa, kung lahat tayo nasa isang bangka lahat tayo may sagwan, kanya kanyang direksyon walang tamang patutunguan.
ReplyDeleteI hope after election we support, work and help the new leader of our country.
@issy: your insights are most welcome and i appreciate your candor. i have my own biases as i am sure you have yours as well.
ReplyDeleteplease understand that this blog was never intended to attack, undermine, bash, nor support any of the candidates. the comments above are a collection of insights from a fictional "apathetic" character who is so passionate about voting but never as a citizen. the blog does not reflect my personal stand on particular candidates. this is called fiction. and as fiction, it should stand on its own, should apply universally, whether or not gibo or any of the other candidates were running in the current elections. i included anti statements for most of the popular candidates (even the one i voted) to create a specific effect to all the readers.
apparently, it struck a chord in yours. i am glad for that.
fiction does not make judgements on particular people, least of all, edu manzano.
edu's resume, track record, and capacity to lead is another matter and is not the subject of this entry. i have a lot to say about that matter because i work in the industry which he supposedly "regulated" as OMDB chair. but then again, i do not wish to spend energy blabbing about that. like what the axiom said, if you have nothing good to say, shut your mouth. :D
now, it's time to rebuild institutions. and time to do our part.
thanks for dropping by my blog. i really appreciate well thought-out and sincere feedback coming from my readers.
cheers!
Bravo!
ReplyDeletee2 pala ung blog ni X na biglang nag-1,500 w0aah!!?!?
